Lotte India Corporation, an arm of South Korea based Lotte Confectionery, on
21 July 2010 inaugurated a new facility at Nemam village near Chennai.
The company has invested around $70 million (approx Rs 322 crore) in the
facility which has a capacity of 1.8 lakh cartons of Lotte chocopie. The candies
will be exported to Middle East and African nations, besides catering to the
domestic market.
