The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has announced plans to establish a 300-acre logistics park and develop over 15,000 residential, commercial, and group housing plots under the Varun Vihar scheme on the Agra Expressway.
This large-scale project aims to provide housing for lakhs of families, create significant employment opportunities, and attract fresh investments to Uttar Pradesh’s capital. LDA Vice-Chairman Prathamesh Kumar inspected the proposed site at Dona village and instructed officials to expedite land acquisition. He also met engineers, project staff, and farmers, emphasizing that Varun Vihar will be developed to international standards. The logistics park will be strategically connected to both the Agra Expressway and Kisanpath, enhancing regional connectivity and boosting trade efficiency.
In addition, the scheme will integrate an Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) and dedicated green spaces, further supporting sustainable urban growth. The project is positioned to become one of Lucknow’s largest housing and infrastructure initiatives, reshaping the city’s development landscape.
