Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers (MCF) has lined up investment to augment capacity at its manufacturing unit in Panabur village of Mangalore district of Karnataka.
MCF is likely to invest Rs 480 crore to enhance the production capacity of urea and other specialty fertiliser at the Mangalore unit. MCF has a capacity to manufacture 2,17,800 tonne of ammonia, 3,79,500 tonne of urea, 2,55,500 tonne of phosphatic fertiliser, 15,330 tonne of ammonium bi-carbonate and 33,000 tonne of sulphuric acid per annum.
