ME Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kilburn Engineering has bagged multiple orders totalling Rs 80.28 crore in the current quarter, reinforcing its leadership in energy recovery and cost reduction solutions.
A major breakthrough for the company is an order valued at Rs 51 crore, marking its foray into the ferro alloys sector. The project involves setting up a 12 MW waste Heat recovery (WHR) based power plant that will utilise high-temperature furnace flue gases through two waste heat recovery boilers (WHRB) and a captive power system. This strategic move expands the company’s reach beyond its established presence in oil & gas, cement, and steel industries.
Additionally, ME Energy received a repeat order worth Rs 17.7 crore from Shree Cement for biomass fuel-fired Hot Air Generator (HAG) systems. These systems, to be installed at cement grinding units in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, are designed for energy-efficient, sustainable heating using paddy straw as fuel.
