1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

MMRDA installs first escalator at Bandongri Station on Metro-7 Corridor

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has installed its first escalator at Bandongri Station on the Andheri (East) to Dahisar (East) Metro-7 Corridor.

There will be, in all, 82 escalators installed at the 13 stations on the 16.5 km Metro-7 Corridor.

The stations at Andheri (East), JVLR Junction, Mahanand, Aarey, Pathan Wadi, Bandongri, Mahindra and Mahindra, Magathane, Devipada, National Park and Ovaripada will have six escalators each, while Shankarwadi and Pushpa Park stations will have eight escalators each at an estimated cost of Rs 48.30 crore.

The 18.5 km Dahisar to DN Nagar Metro-2A Corridor will have 105 escalators. The stations at Dahisar (East), Anand Nagar, Rushi Sankul, I C Colony, Eksar, Don Bosco, Shimpoli, Mahaveer Nagar, Kamraj Nagar, Charkop, Malad, Kastur Park, Bangur Nagar, Goregaon Metro, Aadarsh Nagar, Shastri Nagar will have six escalators each, while DN Nagar Station will have nine escalators at an estimated cost of Rs 53 crore.
