The Madhya Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, has allocated an additional 442.04 acres to the existing 441.96-acre Mohasa-Babai Industrial Area in Narmadapuram district. This expansion brings the total area of the industrial park to 884 acres, aiming to boost the manufacturing of electric and renewable energy equipment.
The state Cabinet also approved revised facilities and allotment processes for businesses setting up in the expanded industrial park. In a separate move, the Cabinet sanctioned road construction projects worth over Rs 2312 crore to enhance infrastructure in Indore and Ujjain ahead of the Simhastha-2028.
Key projects include a 19.815 km Ujjain Simhastha bypass with four-lane upgradation costing Rs 701.86 crore, a 48.05 km Indore-Ujjain Greenfield Road at Rs 1370.85 crore, and a 32.60 km Ingoria-Depalpur two-lane road in Ujjain district costing Rs 239.38 crore.
These projects will be executed by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation, ensuring improved connectivity and supporting future regional growth.
