The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has started allotting land in its newly developed Tilgara industrial zone near Badnawar in Dhar district, signalling renewed momentum in industrial expansion in western Madhya Pradesh.
The first major allotment of four hectares has been given to a plastic manufacturing company in the 150-hectare zone, developed at an estimated cost of Rs 67 crore. The area is being positioned as a growth hub for small and medium manufacturing units, with infrastructure development currently underway. MPIDC is also advancing plans for additional industrial zones in the region, including Tarapur, Lalbagh Basvi, and Bhaisola, to cater to rising investor interest near Indore, the state’s largest industrial belt. “Land allotment at Tilgara marks the beginning of industrial activity in the area.
"MPIDC is focusing on creating well-planned industrial infrastructure to facilitate ease of doing business and attract sustainable investments across sectors,” said Himanshu Prajapati, MPIDC Executive Director. The initiative is expected to attract multi-product industries and strengthen the region’s manufacturing ecosystem.
