Maharashtra State Road Development
Corporation (MSRDC) is likely to undertake a pre-feasibility study of skywalks
at nine suburban railway stations in the metropolis.
Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development
Authority (MMRDA) had proposed 50 skywalks in the metropolis at a cost of Rs.600
crore, and will build the structures near 21 suburban stations. The MMRDA has
asked the MSRDC to begin work at nine stations - Nalasopara, Vasai Road,
Ambernath, Goregaon, Vile Parle and Kandivili.
