Manipal HealthMap, the diagnostics arm of Manipal Group, has fully acquired Medcis PathLabs  to expand its presence in 16 states with more than more than 100 centres. The Bengaluru-based company had acquired an 84 percent stake in Hyderabad-based Medcis Pathlabs in April 2022.

The diagnostic service provider is expanding its services under its parent brand Manipal TRUtest. The move is in line with Manipal HealthMap's aims to become the largest integrated diagnostics services brand within the Manipal Group.

The combined entity will run operation of its laboratories at common locations of Pune, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Kolhapur, and Nagpur.

Medcis PathLabs has 23 laboratories in India, including a central facility in Hyderabad with accreditation for molecular, cytogenetics, histopathology, and microbiology.
