Marriott International has announced a signed agreement with The Balwa Group to introduce its iconic Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts brand to Mumbai. Designed to appeal to modern travelers seeking immersive and stylish experiences, Le Méridien Mumbai International Airport is expected to open in January 2029.

The property will be strategically located just two km from Mumbai International Airport, offering convenience for global and domestic guests alike. The upcoming hotel is anticipated to feature 161 contemporary guest rooms and suites, blending sophistication with functionality to inspire exploration and creativity.

Le Méridien’s signature offerings, including a specialty restaurant, a patisserie, and the distinctive Le Méridien Hub, are set to redefine guest experiences. The Hub will act as a social space where visitors can enjoy custom-brewed, barista-crafted coffee during the day and curated beverages in the evening at the Latitude/Longitude Bar.

To enhance wellness and recreation, plans for the property include an open-air swimming pool, a well-equipped fitness centre, and a spa, catering to both leisure and business travelers. The hotel will also feature expansive event spaces with 1,357 sq. mtrs. dedicated to banquets, complete with sprawling outdoor lawns and an open-air terrace - ideal for weddings, social gatherings, and corporate events.
