A master plan for Technocity in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is ready.
The IT township is coming up over 450 acre at Pallipuram in the state. On completion, the project will be an integrated IT township, encompassing IT/ITES infrastructure and residential apartments. Also, it will have shopping malls with multiplexes, hospitals, hotels, educational institutions and other support facilities will be other attractions. It will have up to 30 million sq ft built-up space with multiple buildings for tenant organisations.
Tata Consultancy Services will set up a Rs 1,500-crore Global Learning Academy in the 82 acre already allotted to them. Infosys, which has a 50-acre SEZ in Phase II of Technopark, will set up a second campus in 50 acre. Separately, Technopark will be developing a 50-acre campus for companies planning to set up their IT/ITES units in the Technocity campus. SunTec Business Solutions plans to set up a campus in the 10 acre land to them.
