France-based artisanal syrup maker Monin has invested Rs 350 crore in its first Indian manufacturing facility at Sangareddy near Hyderabad. The plant, spread over 40 acres, is expected to be fully operational by Q2/2026.
Germain Araud, Managing Director of Monin India, said the facility will help the company triple its volume and achieve a turnover of Rs 150 crore by FY26, up from Rs 50 crore in 2021. Phase 1 will feature two production lines—for syrups and for crush and purée bottling, with full end-to-end production in India.
Monin, which entered India in 2019, currently caters largely to the B2B sector, supplying major café chains like Starbucks and Tim Hortons through over 100 distribution channels. The company also plans to bring more Indian flavours into its French-rooted portfolio. In addition, Monin will expand its experience studios—currently in Delhi and Bengaluru, to Hyderabad and Kolkata.
