The Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is set to begin construction of its 35-acre campus along the Yamuna Expressway, marking its first expansion outside Maharashtra.
The approval for the campus map has already been completed. In addition, the JBM Group has also started work on its own campus in Yamuna City, and five other institutions are in the process of securing land. Currently, two universities and one medical college operate along the corridor. Meanwhile, Sharda University has submitted a proposal for a 100-acre multi-campus development, which includes campuses for international universities, a multi-speciality hospital, and innovation facilities, with an estimated investment of Rs 5,000 crore.
The Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) is also seeking 250 acres for an integrated university campus offering diverse programs across medicine, engineering, and more. This initiative aligns with the state's goal to bolster higher education and healthcare infrastructure.
