NTPC Green Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Paradip Port Authority to explore green hydrogen initiatives.
The agreement, formalised on 27 October, 2025, during India Maritime Week in Mumbai, aims to develop and implement green hydrogen-based mobility projects within the Paradip Port area. The collaboration will also assess potential opportunities for setting up additional green hydrogen projects and their derivatives.
This partnership aligns with NTPC’s broader goal of accelerating India’s transition to clean energy and fostering sustainable port operations. In other development, NTPC Green Energy recently announced the commercial operation of 9.9 MW out of its 92.4 MW wind power project in Bhuj, Gujarat.
