NTPC plans to set up a 15 MW solar thermal power project at its Anta gas
based power station, located in the Baran district of Rajasthan.
The cost for implementation of the project has been estimated to be Euro 4
million (approx Rs 260 crore), including an equity portion funded by NTPC. The
project is to be financed under the Energy Efficiency Programme of Indo-German
Development Co-operation.
The company has floated a tender for the selection of the consultant, via
competitive bidding. The scope of work will encompass the services of tendering
the power plant, including the review of the existing DPR, technical
specifications, and tender floating and evaluation.
