Nagpur’s Kamptee-Koradi-Kanhan belt and surrounding villages are poised for a significant phase of integrated development, with multiple infrastructure and civic projects planned.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari emphasised the importance of effective coordination between the Central and state governments, Railways, NHAI, MahaMetro, and local authorities like NIT, NMRDA, and NMC for seamless progress. A review meeting chaired by the Union Minister highlighted key projects, including the construction of a ten-storey commercial mall at Neelam Lawn on Kamptee-Kalamna Road, with MahaMetro overseeing the tender process.
Other developments include a flyover from Naka Koradi to Bokhara railway crossing, Metro track beautification, and a proposed ropeway from Koradi Mahadev Temple to the Mahagenco balancing reservoir. Additionally, reports on Uppalwadi underpass and Outer Ring Road projects are being prepared, with final decisions expected soon. These efforts aim to enhance the region’s infrastructure and economic growth.
