Narayana Health has unveiled plans for a capital expenditure of Rs 3,000 crore over the next three years to add 2,000 hospital beds across India, according to Group CFO Sandhya J.
The healthcare chain has already deployed nearly 20 percent of the planned outlay, primarily on land acquisitions. With groundwork in place, the company is now preparing to enter the construction phase of the expansion. In addition to domestic expansion, capital investment in Narayana’s Cayman Islands operations has been completed, with only minimal maintenance-related spending anticipated going forward.
Narayana Health is actively exploring further opportunities to grow its footprint and strengthen healthcare infrastructure in India. On performance metrics, the company's Dharamshila hospital unit has reached break-even, and the Gurugram facility achieved break-even during the January-March 2025 quarter.
