Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced the sanctioning of a new railway line connecting Adilabad to Patancheru via Armoor. The announcement was made in response to a letter from Nizamabad MP Arvind Dharmapuri regarding the need for enhanced rail connectivity in the region.
The Minister stated that a Detailed Project Report (DPR) is currently being prepared, with further action to follow upon its completion. The proposed rail line is expected to significantly boost connectivity in North Telangana, benefiting districts like Nizamabad and enhancing transportation and logistics infrastructure in the region.
During his recent visit to Hyderabad, the railway minister met with MP Arvind Dharmapuri, Armoor MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy, BJP leader Eleti Maheshwar Reddy, and other officials to discuss rail expansion projects and regional development.
