Chennai based Consolidated Construction Consortium (CCCL) has bagged two
orders worth Rs 180 crore from Chennai Metro Rail for constructing 10 elevated
stations for Chennai Metro Rail project.
The first order worth Rs 139.54 crore is for the design and construction of
five elevated stations at Koyambedu, Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus, Arumbakkam,
Vadapalani and Ashok Nagar/KK Nagar.
The other order worth Rs 94.99 crore is for the design and construction of
five elevated stations at Little Mount, Guindy, Alandur, Officers Training
Academy and SIDCO.
Work on these stations is expected to commence in November 2010.
