Marriott, which opened its seventh property
Courtyard business hotel in Hyderabad, has chalked out plans to launch three
more hotels in India by end-December 2009.
Marriott plans to have six more hotels under its Courtyard brand by
end-December 2010. This includes hotels in Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, two in
Pune and one in Delhi.
Besides, the company is planning to launch four JW Marriott hotels, one each
in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Chandigarh and one Renaissance hotel in
Bangalore.
The company is also looking at setting up hotels in places like Nashik
(Maharashtra), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Amritsar (Punjab) and Kochi (Kerala).
