L&T Buildings & Factories Operating Company secured various contracts worth Rs 1,500 crore.

The company bagged two orders worth Rs 627 crore for the construction of hospital projects from HLL Lifecare.

The first order is for Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry, involving construction of a 400-bed women & children hospital including hostel complex, teaching block and augmentation of existing facilities. The second order is for the construction of ESIC medical college and hospital at Paripally in Kollam district, Kerala.

A Rs 342-crore contract has been secured from Shree Ahuja Properties & Realtors for the proposed residential project named 'Ahuja Towers' at Prabhadevi, Mumbai.

The company won an order valued at Rs 321 crore from Lucknow Development Authority for the construction of residential towers.

Meanwhile, Rs 210 crore orders have been secured for the construction of an automobile factory at Manesar (Haryana) including add-on works at Bhiwadi (Rajasthan).
