Punj Lloyd secured two contracts worth Rs 235 crore for a process unit and
for providing off-site facilities at the Mangalore Refinery.
The company won the first order from Engineers India to construct a petro
fluid catalytic cracking (PFCC) unit for Phase-III refinery project of Mangalore
Refinery and Petrochemicals, Karnataka. The project forms part of the
up-gradation and expansion plan of Mangalore Refinery, which has a current
capacity of 12 million tpa. The scope of work consists of fabrication and
erection of piping, erection of equipment including heavy and super heavy lifts,
structural work, painting, insulation, and commissioning support for PFCC unit.
The company bagged another order from Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals
for mechanical works for off-site for Phase-II refinery project at Mangalore.
The scope of work involves piping, fabrication and erection of structures,
installation, testing and commissioning of pumps and vessels, fabrication,
erection, testing and commissioning support of the flare system.
