Nextracker, a notable global solar tracker and software solutions provider, has teamed up with Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWRE) for a solar project in Gujarat.
This collaboration is set to supply solar trackers for two phases, totalling 1.875 gigawatts-direct current (GWdc), of NTPC Renewable Energy's solar park in Khavda, Rann of Kutch. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the deployment of solar energy solutions across challenging terrains and diverse geographic regions.
With projects spanning India, Australia, the USA, Jordan, Egypt, Kenya, and Oman, the collaboration between Nextracker and SWRE underscores their commitment to enhancing global renewable energy capacities. Achieving over five GW together in seven countries is a testament to the strength of their collaboration and a shared commitment to clean energy. Nextracker's technology plays a crucial role in achieving these goals.
By securing this order in the domestic market, Sterling and Nextracker have surpassed over five GW of collaborative solar power generation projects globally. With a portfolio exceeding 17.5 GWp, their mission aligns with delivering efficient and timely solar energy solutions worldwide. Nextracker's expansion in India, including its Hyderabad office and manufacturing capabilities, is in line with the country's renewable energy targets.
Nextracker's Indian manufacturing facilities, capable of producing 10 GW per year, have exported 8 gigawatts of solar tracker products, further contributing to India's renewable energy landscape.
