Noida International Airport (NIA) has signed a 30-year agreement with Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) to establish and operate three fuel stations within the airport premises. These will be strategically located near the western access road, the airside for airport operations, and the eastern cargo precinct.
The collaboration aims to provide uninterrupted, high-quality fuelling services and support the airport's operational readiness.
The initiative supports both customer needs and the region's growing infrastructure demands. The airport, which will begin operations in April 2025, is designed for sustainable operations, and is committed to a net-zero emissions goal.
The project will launch with a single runway and terminal. In December 2024, the airport conducted a successful validation flight trial to assess its readiness for commercial flights. Work on the terminal building is progressing rapidly to meet the operational deadline.
Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of NIA, stated, “By partnering with one of India’s most trusted fuel providers, we will ensure seamless and efficient fuelling services at the airport. This is a step forward in building Noida International Airport as the gateway to Northern India.”
