The North Eastern Railway (NER) has floated a tender for a major infrastructure upgrade on the Kanpur Anwarganj–Mandhana section, aimed at eliminating level crossings and enhancing operational efficiency and safety.
The contract involves civil engineering works for the construction of an elevated railway track over a stretch of 15.51 km, between Kanpur Anwarganj (excluding) and Mandhana (excluding) in Uttar Pradesh. The work will be executed under the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode, with an estimated cost of Rs 1,115.66 crore. The contractor will be required to handle the end-to-end execution, including design, procurement of materials, construction, and commissioning of the infrastructure. The specified completion period is 24 months.
The bid submission deadline is 08 September, 2025.
