The State-Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, has approved 20 new industrial projects totalling Rs 4,353 crore across 11 districts, promising employment for 7,815 persons.
These projects span chemicals, electronics, aluminium, tourism, infrastructure, IT services, power and renewable energy, and food processing. Major investments include NTPC SAIL Power Company’s Rs 710.27-crore floating solar project in Sundargarh and Envirocare Infrasolution’s Rs 351-crore solar photovoltaic captive power plant in Angul. Dhenkanal will see a Rs 271-crore solar cell and module facility by Annantham Solar Energies.
Khurda will host multiple renewable and electronics units, including solar module plants by SR Dynamics (Rs 54 crore) and INEX Renewables (Rs 99.85 crore), and a Rs 60-crore LED unit by Greatlane Surveillance Systems. Key approvals also include Rashmi Metallurgical’s Rs 600-crore iron ore beneficiation plant in Keonjhar and major food and beverage projects in Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, and Sambalpur. Tourism infrastructure will expand with four resorts and hotels in Puri and Koraput. Additional logistics, coal washery, IT, and engineering projects were cleared across Jharsuguda, Angul, and Jajpur.
