Oswal Chemicals & Fertilisers has
implemented its di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) fertiliser plant at Paradip in
Orissa with an investment of Rs.2,400 crore.
The company has already produced 12.3 lakh tonnes of phosphatic
fertilisers at the plant, which has an annual capacity of two million tonnes.
The project also includes a 110 MW power plant, which uses waste heat of the sulphuric
acid plant. This is the first time such waste heat is used to generate power.
