A major electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing project is set to be established in Rajasthan’s Ghiloth industrial area of Neemrana tehsil along the Delhi-Jaipur national highway.
PMI Electro Mobility Solutions will invest Rs 1,200 crore to build the facility over 65.56 acres, following a memorandum of understanding signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit in December 2024. The plant will assemble electric buses and manufacture bus bodies, electric motors, batteries, and other core EV components, with an annual production capacity of 33,000 units. Land for the project has been allocated by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO).
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma stated that the plant will help Rajasthan emerge as a leading EV manufacturing hub while generating substantial employment and training opportunities in electromobility. The initiative is expected to bolster green industrialisation, reduce pollution, and promote sustainable urban development in the state.
