The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has invited bids for the Indrayani River Pollution Abatement Works project to address water quality issues in the Pune Metropolitan Region.
The project aims to improve the river’s water quality by focusing on sewage treatment and effluent management. The estimated value is Rs 674.13 crors, which will be utilised for the installation and upgrade of infrastructure for effective water pollution control. The work will be completed within two months from the date of the work order, with a maintenance period extending to 15 years. This initiative is part of broader efforts to ensure sustainable urban development and better water management in the region.
The last date to submit the bid is 15 January, 2026.
