Qualcomm is setting up its second largest campus in Hyderabad, Telangana with an investment of Rs 3,904.55 crore over five years.
The work on the campus spread over 15.72 lakh sq ft is in progress and the facility is expected to be ready by October 2022.
Once completed around 8,700 people will be employed in this facility. The software major will be joining the league of several companies that have their biggest campuses outside the US in Hyderabad.
The company further plans to make significant investments in the next five years. Apart from software, Qualcomm is looking to tap opportunities in agriculture, education, connected devices and smart cities.
