The RPSG Group, led by Chairman Sanjiv Goenka, is set to enter the solar cell and module manufacturing sector, with initial capacity expected to come online in the next few days.

Chairman Goenka outlined that within three years, the Group plans to establish three GW each of cell and module capacity. A large part of the production will be within the Group’s own facilities, while he also highlighted plans to export these products, citing “a very good business model.”

The Chairman reaffirmed confidence in achieving a Rs two lakh crore market capitalisation within 30 months. Renewables form a significant component of RPSG Group’s Rs one lakh crore capex over the next five years, targeting 10 GW of renewable capacity over six years, with 3.2 GW already under implementation and another four GW nearing closure.
