Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the contract "D2C-02" under the Delhi MRTS Phase-IV Project.
The scope of work covers the part design and construction of a 7.298 km long viaduct, from chainage 1202.782 mtrs. to chainage 8501.25 mtrs., including platforms for seven stations. The stations covered under this contract are Pushp Vihar, Saket District Court, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, Greater Kailash-1 (GK-1), Andrews Ganj, and Lajpat Nagar.
The contract also includes the construction of pre-engineered building structures at all the stations along the Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block corridor. The total cost of work is Rs. 447.42 crore. The work is scheduled to be completed within 36 months. This development marks a significant step forward in the expansion of Delhi Metro's infrastructure under Phase-IV, improving connectivity in South Delhi.
