RailTel Corporation of India has received a Rs 46.79-crore order from North Western Railway for signaling works.
The Deputy Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer, Ajmer Division, awarded the contract. Earlier this month, RailTel secured a Rs 78.43 crore order from Bharat Coking Coal (BCCL) for IT-based security infrastructure and related services. Additionally, RailTel bagged a Rs 170 crore order from the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), highlighting its growing project portfolio.
Separately, Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) was declared the lowest bidder for a Rs 137 crore Central Railway project. This undertaking involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of electrical traction systems to upgrade a 2x25 kV system, with Scott-connected transformers ensuring a load capacity of 3,000 MT.
