Reliance Consumer Products, in collaboration with local partner Jericho, has opened a new Campa and beverages bottling plant in Guwahati.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the Rs 250 crore plant, which will cover the company's beverage portfolio, including Campa Cola, Campa Orange, Campa Lemon, Power Up, and packaged drinking water under the Independence and Sure Water brands. Spanning six lakh sq. ft., the facility has an initial production capacity of over 10 crore litres for carbonated soft drinks and nearly 18 crore litres for packaged drinking water.
The plant, equipped with advanced bottling technology, will primarily cater to Assam, Northeast India, and North Bengal, with the ability to supply other markets as needed. Reliance acquired the Campa brand in 2022 for Rs 22 crore and recently purchased Velvette, a pioneer in sachet-based FMCG products.
