Royal Orchid Hotels (ROHL), a leading hospitality chain in India, has announced the signing of a new upscale hotel in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, located strategically near the Gwalior Airport.
This signing is part of the company’s efforts to expand its presence in Central India, focusing on both business and leisure destinations. The hotel will be operated under a Management Agreement, in line with ROHL’s asset-light growth strategy. It will be the second property of Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels in Gwalior and the third in Madhya Pradesh. The Regenta Gwalior will open in two phases: Phase I will feature 71 rooms and various banquet venues for events like weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings. Phase II will add 30 more rooms, increasing the hotel’s capacity.
Chander K Baljee, Chairman & Managing Director of Royal Orchid Hotels, remarked, “We are confident that this new property will offer exceptional value and become a preferred address for travelers arriving in the region.” Owned by Hoshiyar Singh Tomar (Oakwood Hotel), the property caters to business travellers, transit guests, and tourists exploring Gwalior’s cultural and historical sites. Its proximity to the airport, industrial zones, and landmarks like Gwalior Fort makes it an ideal choice for both convenience and comfort.
