Royal Orchid Hotels,
Bangalore and the Ramada Worldwide, a part of Wyndham Group, have joined hands
to open 10 Ramada brand hotels across the country.
Royal Orchid Hotels got exclusive development rights for Ramada brand
to manage hotels across Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and
Tamil Nadu. Royal Orchid is planning to set up hotels in Pune, Chennai, Nagpur,
Hyderabad, Jaipur, Coimbatore and Mumbai over the next five years.
Royal Orchid Hotels
also inaugurated the Ramada Bangalore, the city's first internationally branded
four-star hotel. Royal Orchid also plans to open its first international resort
in 2010 in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
