Keystone Realtors, popularly known as the Rustomjee Group, plans to enter the Pune real estate market, marking its third city expansion after recently foraying into Nagpur.
Boman Irani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Rustomjee Group, confirmed the company is evaluating two joint development proposals for township projects on land parcels totaling approx. 100 acres in Pune. Although the Pune entry will not happen immediately, plans are progressing, and a formal launch is expected next year after the Group officially launches its Nagpur project.
While exploring new markets, Rustomjee’s primary focus remains on the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), especially on redevelopment projects. In Q1/FY26, the Group announced three major redevelopment projects in Mumbai—GTB Nagar, Lokhandwala Cluster, and Swarganga CHSL, adding 3.25 million sq. ft. of saleable space with a gross development value (GDV) of Rs 7,727 crore.
The company currently has 18 ongoing projects totaling 8.61 million sq. ft. and 26 upcoming projects with a combined 23.79 million sq. ft., of which 16 are priced between Rs one crore and Rs seven crore, with a strong focus on the Rs 3.5–5 crore sweet spot in Mumbai.
