SEPC has secured a subcontract worth Rs 269.69 crore for the Ajmer-Chanderiya railway doubling project under the Ajmer Division of North Western Railway (NWR).
The subcontract has been awarded to the VPRPL–SBEL Joint Venture, with SEPC responsible for executing the project works. The scope of work includes earthwork for embankment filling, cutting, and blanketing, along with the construction of major and minor bridges, road under bridges (RUBs), foot over bridges, and other essential civil structures. Additionally, it will involve constructing station buildings, platform works, shelters, staff quarters, and permanent way works, including ballast supply.
The project is part of a larger initiative aimed at enhancing rail infrastructure and improving connectivity between Ajmer and Chanderiya. The work will be completed as per the guidelines set by NWR.
