Sarovar Hotels & Resorts is planning to launch 33 hotels across India by
2011, under various arrangements.
Of the total 33 which are under various stages of development, 25 hotels are
expected to be operational by end-December 2010 and the remaining in 2011.
Moreover, during 2009, the company plans to open 11 more hotels among other
places in Ludhiana, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Siliguri (West Bengal) and Port Blair
(Andaman and Nicobar Islands) with a total of 1,000 rooms.
Besides, the company is planning to inaugurate its second overseas 134-room
hotel - Ole Sereni Nairobi - under management contract in Kenya by end-July
2009.
