Serene Communities, a senior-living operator by Columbia Pacific, has partnered with Kerala-based Asset Homes to invest Rs 500 crore in four senior-living projects across Kerala. 

This 1.69 lakh sq. ft. development focuses on senior citizens' well-being with integrated care, clinical oversight by KITES Senior Care, and partnerships with Rajagiri Hospital for healthcare access and emergency support. The project is set to be completed by 2028. The initiative targets the state's ageing population, leveraging its NRI base, high life expectancy, and reputation as a retirement-friendly location.

The first project, Serene Young @ Heart, was launched in Kochi with 211 residences, including one, 1.5, and two-BHK apartments.  Serene Communities plans to expand with 15 more projects, aiming for 10,000 homes by 2030.
