Sri City, an integrated business city in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh, secured investments totalling Rs 20,250 crore in 2025 through 43 MoUs.
A major portion, Rs 11,750 crore, was raised at the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam. The year also saw 15 new companies beginning production, with five inaugurations during the summit and 10 on other occasions. A key milestone was achieved in May when LG Electronics started constructing its manufacturing facility. Other notable developments included Proterial (Metglas), a Japan-based specialty steel maker, and Daikin’s supply-chain investment, further enhancing Sri City as an advanced manufacturing hub.
Additional achievements included the 20,000th excavator rolling out by Kobelco Construction Equipment and the launch of a large-scale liquid nitrogen storage tank by VRV Asia Pacific. With growing global recognition, Sri City hosted international delegations from countries like Japan, Australia, and Korea. "Our goal for 2026 is to host 500 companies and create 1.5 lakh jobs," said Ravindra Sannareddy, founder of Sri City.
