Mumbai-based Supreme Petrochem is set to focus on its new acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plant and an expanding portfolio of value-added products.
The ABS plant, which is in trial production, is expected to drive growth, particularly in the auto sector, within the next five to six months. The first phase of the ABS project could generate Rs 800 crore, with the full project estimated at Rs 1,700 crore annually. Despite global disruptions in Q2, the company aims to surpass last year's FY26 volumes.
Rakesh Nayyar, Executive Director, stated, “Trials are ongoing with various processors. Once the material is accepted by the market, we’ll start commercial sales to the auto sector within five to six months.” The company is also strengthening its export presence in Gulf and Asian markets, anticipating a shift in demand from Europe and the US.
