Syrma SGS Technology has announced the commencement of construction for a new printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing plant in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh.
The facility, developed through its subsidiary Syrma Strategic Electronics is designed to enhance the company’s role in India's growing electronics manufacturing sector. The plant will produce a range of PCBs, including single-layer and multi-layer types, bolstering the company’s production capabilities and solidifying its position. This project is also expected to generate over 1,000 direct employment opportunities supporting local economic growth.
In addition, Syrma SGS has entered into a joint venture (JV) with South Korea’s Shinhyup Electronics, bringing together global engineering expertise and India’s manufacturing strength. The collaboration aims to enhance the new plant’s competitiveness and quality. "The new facility will reinforce our position as a key contributor to the domestic electronics sector," the company stated.
