Tanfac Industries, a leading Indian fluorine chemicals manufacturer, has successfully commissioned the second phase of its 5,000 TPA (AHF Basis) solar grade dilute hydro fluoric acid (DHF) plant on 06 October, 2025, after the trial batches met stringent customer quality standards. 

The first phase of the project, also of 5,000 TPA capacity, was commissioned in June 2025, bringing Tanfac’s total Solar Grade DHF capacity to 10,000 TPA (AHF Basis). With this achievement, Tanfac remains the only Indian chemical company to commission a Solar Grade DHF plant. Director Afzal Malkani highlighted the milestone as a key step towards enhancing the company’s revenue and profitability. 

Tanfac Industries, a joint venture between Anupam Rasayan India and TIDCO, operates a 60-acre manufacturing facility in SIPCOT Industrial Estate, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu.
