Tata Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with US-based Emerson to deliver integrated testing and validation solutions for global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle sectors.
The alliance aims to combine Tata Tech's strengths in systems engineering, E/E architecture, and mobility platform development with Emerson’s advanced software-connected test and measurement solutions. The collaboration is designed to empower manufacturers in addressing the complex demands of next-generation mobility. It will enable rapid, intelligent, and cost-efficient validation of software-defined, connected, electric, and autonomous vehicles—helping OEMs accelerate development cycles, reduce costs, and bring competitive products to market faster.
“This partnership reinforces our commitment to engineering a software-defined future, helping OEMs innovate faster, and deliver connected, autonomous, and sustainable mobility that delivers a great customer experience,” said Nachiket Paranjpe, President and Head of Automotive Sales at Tata Technologies. In June, Tata Tech was selected as a strategic supplier by Volvo Cars to support product and embedded software engineering, and product lifecycle management. These services will be delivered from Tata Tech’s facilities in India, Sweden, Romania, and Poland.
During a recent pilot engagement with a European luxury OEM, the team successfully developed EV powertrain test rigs in just five months—achieving a timeline that is 67 percent faster than the standard 15-month build cycle, based on preliminary results.
