Apollo Micro Systems has been allotted over five acres of land in Hyderabad by the Telangana government for its new manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing facility for weapon system platforms.
The company plans to invest Rs 300 crore in this project, which will focus on weapon systems like grad rockets, anti-submarine warfare rockets, anti-tank mines, and artillery munitions. The Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) has allocated 22,988 sq. mtrs. of land at the Hardware Park Phase II, with the land price set at Rs 12,000 per sq. mtrs, totalling more than Rs 27.58 crore. This facility will expand Apollo Micro Systems' existing weapon integration capabilities and contribute to strengthening indigenous manufacturing in the defence sector.
The company expressed gratitude to the Telangana government for supporting the aerospace and defence industry, especially after signing a memorandum of understanding during the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 in December.
