The Telangana Rising delegation, led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Blaize, a company specialising in energy-efficient AI hardware and full-stack software for data-center AI computing, during 2026 WEF.
The MoU aims to accelerate semiconductor and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives. Blaize, which partners with hybrid AI infrastructure providers across Asia, is looking to expand its presence in Telangana, particularly in Hyderabad. Chief Minister Reddy expressed his excitement about the partnership, highlighting that Telangana’s AI hub is key to the state’s goal of achieving USD three trillion in growth over the next two decades. He said, “Our state is rapidly emerging, with high-impact initiatives across AI, data centers, quantum computing, hardware, and automation.”
Minister D. Sridhar Babu added that the state is launching the 'Telangana AI Innovation Hub' to drive investments, research, and innovation, positioning Hyderabad as a global AI destination. The Minister welcomed Blaize's decision to potentially expand its R&D centre in Hyderabad and assured support for advanced AI engineering talent. The meeting also explored AI solutions for healthcare diagnostics and energy efficiency.
