The Narmada Valley Development Authority has invited bids for construction of Nagod-Satna branch canal.
The scope of work includes construction of Nagod-Satna branch canal from RD 83.00 km to RD 113.00 km including its complete distribution system up to 40 ha chak inclusive of survey, planning, geotechnical investigations, design, drawing, estimation, preparation of permanent land acquisition cases of entire system and compliances till final award, excavation, earthwork, cement concrete lining, all inline structures, asphalt service road work in Nagod-Satna branch canal and WBM service road work in sub-branch canal (Bhulani).
It also involves establishing water user association (WUA) for 14,424 ha of command area, commissioning and testing of the complete canal system includes 12-month defect liability period, operation and maintenance running simultaneously after completion of the work in Madhya Pradesh on turnkey basis.
The estimated value of the project is Rs 182.45 crore with completion period of 36 months.
