The Road Construction Department, Jharkhand has floated a tender for the four-laning of the Hazaribag bypass.
The scope of the contract includes widening the existing road to four lanes, strengthening the pavement, reconstructing worn-out sections, and implementing safety measures, for the upgrade of the stretch starting from the Hazaribag bypass (starting point) to the end point of the Hazaribag bypass (Old NH alignment). The total length of the project is 9.284 km and it is being taken up under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) for the financial year 2025–26.
The completion period for the work is set at 18 months, to be executed at a cost of worth Rs 106.76 crore.
The bid submission closing date is 04 August, 2025.
