National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has floated a tender for the four-laning of the Marakkanam–Puducherry section of National Highway-332A, spanning from km 62+000 to km 108+047 in Tamil Nadu.
The contract, part of the larger Mahabalipuram–Puducherry corridor (Package-III), will be executed under the hybrid annuity mode (HAM) with a total length of 46.047 km.
The scope of work includes the rehabilitation, upgradation, and widening of the existing carriageway, construction of a new pavement, rehabilitation of the existing pavement, and the construction and/or refurbishment of major and minor bridges, at an estimated cost of Rs 1,178.05 crore. The contractor will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the highway post-construction.
The bid submisison closing date is 26 June, 2025.
